Final Fantasy fans with a Nintendo Switch have every reason to be excited as Nintendo revealed plenty of exciting titles that are about to launch and that are coming to the console in 2019 during tonight's Nintendo Direct. The Final Fantasy parade started slowly with the previously announced Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition that's hitting Switch (and PS4) next year. It continued with the just-released Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD. A new announcement was the tricked out World of Final Fantasy Maxima, originally released a couple of years ago on PC, PS4, PS Vita. World of Final Fantasy Maxima launches on November 6. The remastered, reworked trend continued with Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Everybuddy, a reworked version of Wii title Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, now offers co-op play and allows you to befriend every monster. It's set to release this winter.

But in true Nintendo Direct the most exciting news was saved for last, as first it was confirmed that Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is heading to Nintendo Switch next year, but that's not the only classic FF title to come to Switch next year. It was also confirmed that older titles in the series will be hitting the platform in 2019 with Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 confirmed thus far. We wouldn't be surprised if we'll see Final Fantasy VIII and even older titles at some point, but we'd have to make do with 9 Final Fantasy titles this time... Not too shabby, if all of them are re-releases or remasters in some form.

Are you happy to see any of these titles appear on Nintendo Switch?
