SMAC Games and Mode 7 have announced that Tokyo 42 has been released on PlayStation 4 in EU and US PSN regions, with Japan following on August 17, and it'll cost £16.99 to download digitally.
Tokyo 42 is described as "a hyper-stylish isometric open-world shooter" in which you are framed for a murder, but you'll have to navigate the world if you want to escape those who are after you, which is done by spinning the camera. During this time you can discover loads of weapons, secrets, and more in the world.
The game features a single-player open world story mode as well as a multiplayer side of things, revolving around deathmatch arenas. All of this is accompanied by a soundtrack produced by Beat Vince too, and an art style that's particularly vibrant.
A launch trailer can be found down below, if you're still not sure whether to get it. Do you like the colourful visual style?
