Tiny Metal arrives on PC, PS4, and Switch
We have a launch trailer to go with it.
Sony Music Entertainment and Area 35 have announced that Tiny Metal is now available for Nintendo Switch, PC, and PS4, meaning that fans can enjoy the classic turn-based battles that we've come to expect from classic games like Advance War, mixed with modern 3D graphics courtesy of Unreal Engine.
"Return to Japanese Arcade War Gaming. Tiny Metal is a turn-based strategy game of skill and tactics inspired by Japanese arcade war games of the past (like the Advance Wars series)," the press release explains. "Step into the aftermath of a kingdom reeling from an assassination and try to restore order through military might. Roll out tanks, take control of cities, launch aerial strikes, expand your squad, and struggle for territory in a stylistic tactical war game for fans young and old."
"Play as Artemisian Lieutenant Nathan Gries as he commands his units against the villainous nation of Zipang. Players will have to carefully consider varying terrain, positioning for attacks, and strategic advancements and defenses."
The press release also comes with a disclaimer that an "administrative error" means that the game isn't yet available in the North American region for PSN, apologising for the inconvenience.
