THQ Nordic, formerly Nordic Games, may be best known for buying up old IPs and properties, but they are currently investing in their own studios and development as well. Late last year they established a new development studio in Karlstad, Sweden, an area without much history in terms of game development, but also the area where the leadership of the publisher is originally from.

The new developer, Mirage Game Studios, was just made official and the four people working there are now looking for further talent to expand the studio.

"Together we are working on a new IP - a creative strategy game about building factories and the manufacturing industry. As a player, you take on the role of a factory manager, responsible for almost all aspects of production and activity around a factory."
