THQ Nordic is expanding into Japan

There's plenty of experience in the team, who is handling distribution, PR, and marketing for titles in the Japanese market.

THQ Nordic has revealed that they've officially incorporated THQ Nordic Japan KK, who is responsible for "distribution, PR, and marketing of THQ Nordic's and HandyGames' slate of games in the Japanese market", according to the press release.

This is the second international distribution outlet, coming after the main body based in the US. There's plenty of experience in the team as well, as managing director Yuji Kato has been in the industry for 20 years, being joined by manager Junko Kato and Hiroshi Ogawa in project management.

"In our opinion, the only real way to truly embrace (pun intended) the Japanese market is to run it with a team of Japanese professionals, which was our approach for the new Japanese subsidiary. A warm, heartfelt welcome to the entire team based in Tokyo, Japan" comments Klemens Kreuzer, Managing Director at THQ Nordic GmbH. "Good things come to those who wait and we took our time to realize it with the best setup possible."

Our team is prepared, honoured and absolutely ready to kickstart THQ Nordic's operations on the Japanese market", adds Kato.
