The Witcher 3's 1.03 patch improves Wild Hunt's framerate
Update that improves the game rolls out for PS4, with the Xbox One version due out soon.
It's barely out a fortnight and yet The Witcher 3 has seen a third update patch drop (and a fourth's just round the corner).
With patch 1.03, which is now available, CD Projekt Red has added some tweaks to try and keep the frame rate at a fixed 30FPS on both console versions, to try and tackle one of the main issues players have had with the game so far.
Among numerous tweaks, there's now a fix to the issue of Geralt being able to shoot arrows at friendly NPCs, stamina's been altered, and graphical elements have been fixed.
We've tested the PS4 version post-patch and the improved stability is instantly noticeable, especially in big towns like Novigard.
Xbox One users will get their patch as soon as it passes MS QA check. It's expected that next patch will fix the tiny text font.
