The Trespasser sneaks its way into Destiny
Bungie have confirmed its early return.

Destiny faced planned maintenance yesterday in order to prepare for the upcoming release of the Rise of Iron expansion, however, one surprise change in the update is that the Trespasser weapon has made its way into the game.
Bungie confirmed via Twitter that the sidearm had been released early, so it seems like it wasn't an accidental slip on their part. Also included in the patch was the rebalancing of sidearms and other weapons, and of course this precedes the Rise of Iron expansion which includes a new raid, crucible maps, armour sets and more.
