Ubisoft has revealed that it has delayed the start of the 2022 Rainbow Six Siege esports season's regional leagues. The delay, while only a few days, comes quite late, and means competition will be starting at a different date than was initially planned.

As for what date that will be now, Ubisoft has simply added that it "will share the updated competitive calendars soon", meaning we'll hopefully get to know when competitive play will return in a few days as well.

This comes around three weeks after the 2021 season came to a close, with the 2022 Six Invitational, which saw TSM crowned champions of the premier event.
