The play-in tournament for the Smite World Championship is over. This means we know precisely which eight teams will be heading to Texas to compete in the major event, which is being held at the Esports Stadium Arlington between January 12-14.
With the event planned for this weekend, the eight qualified teams have also been sorted into a knockout bracket, meaning we know who will play who first, and likewise the format for each game.
The quarterfinals will be a best-of-three and will all be held on Friday, January 12. The first match will be Styx Ferrymen vs. Solar Scarabs, and this will then be followed by Jade Dragons vs. Highland Ravens, before Atlantis Leviathans vs. Hex Mambo, all before Oni Warriors vs. Camelot Kings.
The winner of each game will progress to Saturday, January 13th's semi-finals, which will be a best-of-five format, and will see the winners of these two matches advancing to the grand final on Sunday, January 14.
