In a recent episode of the GameHugs podcast, veteran Australian game developer Morgan Jaffit, revealed that after Pandemic Studios' Australian branch was shut down in 2008 he was meant to go on to be the creative director on DLC for The Saboteur and subsequently The Saboteur 2 - sequel to the somewhat cult classic game that failed to find a large enough audience upon its eventual release in early 2009. As Pandemic Studios shut down before the release of The Saboteur in late 2008, it is unlikely that the sequel ever went beyond the intial concept stage and Jaffit decided not to take the job as he didn't like what he saw at Pandemic in LA during a week where he got to try out the position.
The concept for The Saboteur was rather neat as the player was tasked with liberating and infiltrating a German-occupied France during World War II.
