A demo has just been released for Pokémon: Lets Go Pikachu/Eevee which provides players with a small slice of the game to see what all the fuss is about. Taking place in Viridian Forest, here you'll meet with Professor Oak who wants yourself and your partner Pokémon (which is selected randomly) to conduct some research.
The demo will have you experience the core gameplay loop (walking around and catching Pokémon), and with no time limit so you can spend as long as you want figuring out if the newest generation of Pokémon is for you. There are a fair few differences between this entry and others too, so we'd recommend checking it out.
At the time of release, the game had the highest first-week sales figure for the Switch, so perhaps this demo is an attempt to grab players still on the fence about buying the game. You might also want to check out our review too.
Are you going to give the demo a try?
