In this day and age mini consoles are a pretty regular thing, from the recent PlayStation Classic to Nintendo's NES and SNES consoles, and back in November Gamereactor reported on a project called PC Classic, the idea being to have a mini console that emulates those old DOS games.
The company behind this is Unit-E, and a crowdfunding campaign was supposed to launch in late November. That never happened, but we have received a new video highlighting what's going on.
So far they have secured 41 licenses for the system, but they still haven't disclosed what games will be featured at launch. The crowdfunding phase should finally begin "within a few weeks" though, and an interesting bit of information was that not all games will be run with emulators, as they have real builds made for the PC Classic. The selection of games will not be fixed either, since you can add more games later, and the update video contains a lot more info.
You can follow the progress of PC Classic here, and the estimated price for the system will be $99 USD.
