As you may know, the latest game in the Hitman series, simply dubbed Hitman, is taking an untraditional approach to its release. When the game launches later this week, it'll include just one sandbox location, Paris, with more locations being added throughout the year.
Previously, Hitman developer IO Interactive and publisher Square Enix hasn't commited to a number for exactly how many additional locations we could expect (6 locations have been named). But new info has surfaced via the buy.hitman.com website, saying that the game will feature a total number of seven episodes.
Presumably, each episode will contain a new location and a new part of the game's story arch. According to the site, you'll be able to buy all episodes and content as a one-time purchase, or you can settle for the Intro Pack, containing the contents that will be available on release day. If that tickles your fancy, you'll be able to buy the rest of the game's content as an upgrade package. Alternately, you can buy the follow-up episodes individually.
