Fans of Keanu Reeves and the long-running Matrix series should get ready for May 21 of 2021, as that's when we're getting the release date for The Matrix 4, as reported by Deadline.

We mention Keanu Reeves specifically because that's the same date John Wick 4 is meant to release, meaning it's going to be a breathtaking day for those who want to see more of each franchise.

Warner Bros. has also revealed, according to the same report, that The Flash's standalone film will arrive on July 1, 2022, while Taika Waititi's live-action Akira project has been moved off the release schedule, with The Matrix 4 getting its tentative release date.

The Mortal Kombat film is getting moved forwards by a few months too, meaning we can expect it on January 15, 2021.
