The Marvel train is chugging along this autumn as we'll be reacquainting ourselves with both Loki and Brie Larson's superheroine Captain Marvel, but it's no secret that Marvel's most recent productions (with the exception of the third Guardians instalment) haven't lived up to the standards of the Infinity Saga, and the superhero fatigue that has arisen in recent years is a fact. This is something The Marvels director Nia DaCosta is well aware of according to an interview with Total Film (thanks, GamesRadar). However, she believes that the quirkiness of the sequel will change people's minds once The Marvels opens:

"I think superhero fatigue absolutely exists. The biggest difference from the other MCU movies to date is that it's really wacky, and silly. The worlds we go to in this movie are worlds unlike others you've seen in the MCU. Bright worlds that you haven't seen before."

Whether the film world is ready for more wacky MCU worlds remains to be seen until the movie opens on November 10. What is your thoughts on superhero films?
