If you had any hope that Lotus would be looking to deliver its Emeya electric car as an affordable option, well, we have some bad news for you. The car maker has revealed the UK and European pricing for the car, and even its most accessible model will break the bank and be out of reach for the majority of people.

Lotus has stated that the Emeya will start at £94,950 / €106,400. Granted, for that price you do get a vehicle with a maximum range of 610 km, a battery of 350 kW that can be fast-charged from 10-80% in 18 minutes, all while powering a vehicle that clock 0-62 mph in less than 2.8 seconds thanks to its motors kicking out 905 bhp.

In terms of the exact pricing for the Emeya range, Lotus states that the Hyper-GT Emeya S will begin at £107,450 / €126,950, and the flagship Emeya R will begin at £129,950 / €150,990. Each of the cars will debut in the UK and Europe sometime in Q3 2024.
