The League of Explorers is the new Hearthstone adventure

Blizzard announced The League of Explorers, a new adventure for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. As with the previous adventures, The League of Explorers will be divided into wings (just four this time), each with several bosses to defeat. The adventure will include a challenge per class and new boards.

The League of Explorers also introduces a new game mechanic - Discover - which lets you select one of three random cards when a minion with Discover comes into play. Counting the four wings, players can earn 45 new cards in total.

"League of Explorers is a fun mix of memorable locations from Warcraft and exciting new locations to battle through," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment. "Players who join the expedition are in for a good time and will walk away with some great new cards for their collections."

The first wing of The League of Explorers arrives on November 13. As per usual there are multiple ways to purchase the new content - either in full for £13.99 (PC/Mac/Android) / £14.99 (iOS), or one wing at a time for 700 gold or £4.99 - after picking up the first wing you can also pick up discounted bundles with the remaining locations.
