The latest iteration of Mario Party is coming to 3DS

Looks to be more cooperative and less friendship destroying than the previous games

At Nintendo's Treehouse event at E3 we got a look into the brand new Mario Party game that is coming exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS.

Mario Party: Star Rush is taking a new approach to the Mario Party franchise, by removing conventional board game rules and placing in new mechanics and cooperative play.

Nintendo have promised for it to be "the most perfectly portable Mario Party game to date." With 4-layer modes and multiple game modes, this iteration takes a step back from what we've seen before.

Mario Party: Star rush will be released 4 November.
