Earlier this week we reported that Sony would be releasing a trailer for The Last of Us: Part II soon, and even mentioned that they could announce a release date, which we heard would be in November. However, in the last few hours, some developments have taken place.
Kotaku journalist Jason Schreier shared on Twitter that he had received confirmation that the game was in fact planned for autumn this year domestically, but was actually postponed to the early months of 2020. Gamereactor can now also confirm this information - The Last of Us: Part II will be released in early 2020.
This probably means that the trailer will no longer be released this week, although Gamereactor knows it has been finalised for some time. Still, we will remain attentive to new developments, and will keep you posted on further news regarding the game.
