The Los Angeles Theives has been in the market for a new general manager ever since Eric "Muddawg" Sanders left the team after its championship winning campaign in the 2022 season. Now that we are around two months away from the Call of Duty League returning with the 2023 season, the team has announced the individual who will be stepping up and taking over this role.

And that very person is Brandon "Novus" Hewitt, formerly the general manager of the Seattle Surge, and an analyst for the Paris Legion before that.

As announced on Twitter, the Theives has stated, "The next era begins. Introducing the new @LAThieves General Manager @NovusVita_gg! Run it up."

The Thieves will be the team to beat heading into the 2023 season, so we'll have to see if with this new management figure, they can run it back, and become back-to-back champions.

Sledgehammer Games' latest instalment into the long-running shooter series offers up some great improvements, but still feels a bit safe at its core.
