While the next Intel Extreme Masters tournament will take place next month in Katowice, the ESL has already started to look toward the future and focus its attention on April's Brazilian tournament.

Set to be held in Rio de Janeiro once again, the invited and closed qualifier teams for the event have now been revealed, meaning we know who will be taking a trip to South America in spring.

The invited teams who will be in attendance are:

  • FaZe Clan

  • Team Vitality

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas

  • Mouz

  • Fnatic

  • FURIA

  • Heroic

  • Outsiders

  • Cloud9

  • OG Esports

As for the teams who will be filling the remaining spots in the playoffs bracket, these will come from the closed qualifier, which will see these teams fighting for a spot:
