The Grim & The Grave coming to Total War: Warhammer
Two new Legendary Lords enter the fray.
Creative Assembly's Total War: Warhammer will be getting a new expansion titled The Grim & The Grave as well as some additional free content.
Following on from the launch of the Call of the Beastmen DLC, Total War: Warhammer will get its first Lord Pack. We're borrowing some of the terminology from the press release, but the new DLC introduces two new Legendary Lords from Warhammer Fantasy Battles - Volkmar the Grim for the Empire, and Helman Ghorst for the Vampire Counts.
The Grim & The Grave also adds two new lord types (the Vampire Counts get Strigoi Ghoul King, and the Empire get Arch Lector). The expansion will also add new units for both the Empire and the Vampire Counts.
Both of the factions featured in the expansion will also see the addition of Regiments of Renown, unique unit variants with special traits and abilities.
An update released alongside The Grim and The Grave will introduce a number of unique new battle maps and Vlad Von Carstein as a free legendary lord for all players. The Grim and the Grave is currently available to pre-order on Steam and will officially release on September 1.
