The EVO 2019 tournament will reveal "news from PlayStation"

EVO is teasing a PlayStation announcement happening at the fighting game tournament this year. On Twitter, the official Evo account posted "We are excited to partner with @PlayStation for #EVO2019! 8 of the 9 main event titles are presented by PS4. Don't miss any of the action and stay tuned for more news from PlayStation at EVO!" and as for what that news is, we're as clueless as the rest of the gaming web.

The tournament is sponsored by PlayStation this year, so expect to see more of that format than the others on location.
