The Escapists 2 is on its way to Switch

Team17 and Mouldy Toof Studios have just announced that their hit prison-escape game The Escapists 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch on January 11, meaning that from next month you can bust out anywhere, anytime, with anyone. Join forces with a cell-mate for local two-player split-screen mode, either teaming up to break out or working against one another to determine who's the quickest convict to make an escape.

The launch marks the debut of the award-winning series on Nintendo Switch, which has currently only been available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As a reminder, this new edition features plenty of unique prisons, including moving ones, and customisation options too, refining and building upon the features in the first game.
