The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

Virtuos has done a striking job here that truly makes Oblivion shine.

Stealing more than a million items is sure to land your hero in jail for a long time.

The RPG remaster was also the best-selling game of April 2025.

In the US, the game is just behind Assassin's Creed Shadows and Monster Hunter: Wilds after just a week.

Now we've had some time with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, it's fair to say it has set the bar pretty high for future remasters.

Thankfully, the feature has also made it into the recently released remaster.

The games are just too detailed not to have a bit of a break in between environments.

It's not just The Elder Scrolls IV that fans are returning to.

And this was achieved in just three days, so we can probably assume there been a lot of happy people at Bethesda and Virtuos this week...

Kudos to Bethesda for not removing this beloved blooper nugget.

Skyblivion will continue to be developed and is expected to release later this year.

One of the leakers that correctly revealed that the game was going to be shadow dropped this week says so.
