The Counter Pit CS:GO finals are happening today

Both the semifinals and finals of the Gamekit Counter Pit League season two are happening today. The first semifinal is scheduled to begin at 9:45 GMT/10:45 CET, where Virtus.Pro is facing Natus Vincere.

The second semifinal is scheduled to happen at 12:45 GMT/13:45 CET, with Astralis surprisingly is up against NRG.

We say surprisingly because the NA-based NRG beat French side EnVyUs in a 2-1 upset during yesterday's quarterfinals. While EnVyUs has been struggling for a while, you'd still expect the them to beat an opponent that's neither in the HLTV top 20 nor among the top 5 North American teams.

Obviously, EnVy's issues run deeper than what they're able to quick-fix by bringing in just one new player. Good work by NRG for taking them out.

Once the finalists have been found, the final is scheduled to begin at 15:45 GMT/16:45 CET.
