The Commanders update for Elite Dangerous is now available for download. Players who own the Horizons expansion will be able to travel in the same ship, sharing controls. The long-requested update also adds the Holo-Me character creator, extra seats in some ships, and distinct roles to play.

Elite Dangerous 2.3 puts its Commanders front and center, with new ways to play and new discoveries to be made."
