The Smite World Championship has concluded, and this means that Season 9 of competitive play is in the books. After a year of play, it all came down to a grand finals match last night when the Camelot Kings took on the Tartarus Titans, and after a very dominant showing at the whole of Worlds, the team that ended up lifting the trophy was the Kings.
The Kings defeated the Titans 3-0 in the final, and ultimately never lost a single map across the entire Worlds Playoffs bracket. This victory has seen a new world champion crowned, and is finally seeing jungler Benjamin "CaptainTwig" Knight getting a Worlds ring after attending and competing in all nine of the World Championships that led up to this one.
With this in the books, all eyes will be on Season 10 of the Smite Pro League, which no doubt we'll hear more about in the coming weeks and months.
