The Big House has once again been forced to pull its in-person Super Smash Bros. events for the year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. According to the tournament organiser, they were pushed to make a decision on whether the events would go ahead this February, and they ultimately decided that the global situation was too uncertain to make a commitment.

It's unclear at this point whether The Big House plans to hold any online tournaments this year, as this was never detailed in the announcement. Instead, it just concludes by stating "we hope you continue to follow us and the other amazing events happening in the meantime, and to see you here again in 2022."
