The Assassin's Creed film hasn't grossed close to its cost

The Assassin's Creed film was released last month, and even though the film has had a huge marketing campaign based on the very popular video game series, the film hasn't prospered in terms of grossing. The production budget for the film ended up costing around 125-130 million US dollars while the marketing price tag apparently was just as high. Getting $250 million back, then, was never easy, and the film has not got that money back yet.

Assassin's Creed, starring Michael Fassbender, has grossed $86 million as of right now after almost a month in the cinemas, and even if it hasn't yet been released in every European contry, it's pretty easy to assume that it won't be able to turn things around. Did you enjoy the film?
