The 2021/22 season of the Rocket League Championship Series will feature more regions and a $6 million prize pool
The competition is planned to commence this October.
Psyonix has outlined some pretty major changes that will be implemented in the 2021/2022 season of the Rocket League Championship Series. The series of events, which is set to commence this October, will feature a total prize pool of $6 million, and it will see the inclusion of three new regions (Asia-Pacific North, Asia-Pacific South, and the Middle East and North Africa). It has been revealed that LAN events will also be making a comeback too with Fall Major this December looking to be the first.
In addition to all of this, the tournament's format will also be receiving a rework. Each Split will feature a different format and Majors will reward teams with more points than regional events. Additionally, teams are only allowed to make two roster changes throughout the event with a maximum of one trade being per window.
