After many years, the Test Drive series is back with a Forza Horizon challenger. Can it compete and maybe even take the top spot?

The much-delayed racing game finally has a release date.

But we're still unclear as to when the game will actually be arriving.

But at least we finally have some gameplay before a closed beta starts later this month.

The promised "over 600km / 370 miles of roads" will have to wait until next year.

KT Racing promises over 600 kilometres of roads, dynamic weather, secret areas and day/night cycles.

And the game is no longer coming to last-gen consoles.

It's planned to race onto all modern-day consoles on September 22, 2022.

Still no sign of a release date, however.

Developer KT Racing and publisher Nacon have officially announced new Test Drive title Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown.
