We recently caught up with Telltale Games' Job J Stauffer and we asked him some quick questions about potential sequels, among them Tales from the Borderlands. This is what the head of creative communications had to say about a potential second season.
"I think the fans are interested in that and we love the universe, but looking at the story of Borderlands, if you're a Borderlands fan you know the story goes Borderlands, Borderlands Pre-Sequel, Borderlands 2, Tales from the Borderlands, and that's the timeline of the canon. So if we're at the most recent part of the canon, what happens next in the canon that's actually up to Gearbox. So if you're going to see Rhys and Fiona and any of those characters again, or whatever's going to happen on Pandora or wherever they go, that's a Gearbox question. We'd love to see them again, but right now the story of Borderlands is back in Gearbox's court."
Tales from the Borderlands launched its first episode in November of 2014 and see five episode release over the course of eleven months. It's available on PC/Mac, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One as well as Android and iOS.
