Tekken 7 may have crossplay between consoles and PC

Harada says the studio is looking into it, and has ideas about how to approach it.

The upcoming Tekken 7 may let players on different console platforms and even PC play against each other. According to Katsuhiro Harada, the boss of all things Tekken, it's something his development team is currently considering.

Word of the cross-feature potential comes in an interview with wccftech. Though the team knows how to technically proceed with the feature, there are issues that they need to consider first. Most importantly, how to keep cheaters on PC from ruining the experience of console players.

Tekken 7 is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in early 2017.
