Tearaway devs launch Knights and Bikes Kickstarter

Rex Crowle and Moo Yu pitch game inspired by Earthbound and The Goonies.

The new developer Foam Sword Games, made up of Rex Crowle and Moo Yu, of Media Molecule, who have worked on games like Little Big Planet, Tearaway and Ratchet & Clank, have started a Kickstarter campaign to try to gain the £100,000 they need for the development of new game Knights and Bikes. The game is meant to be an action-adventure with a focus on co-op that's been inspired by Secret of Mana and Earthbound as well as The Goonies. Which sounds like a brilliant mix to us.

The game will he a true and unique visual style, and will revolve around the story of two little girls who cycle around the island they live on, and try to discover the island's medieval past. You can check out Kickstarter campaign page for more details. It should be noted that Rex Crowle will split his time between Foam Sword Games and Media Molecule.

REVIEW. Written by Kieran Harris

"Rich in '80s nostalgia, this is a thoroughly enjoyable tale of unlikely friendship and supernatural events that we would urge you to try in co-op."
