After over a week of action-packed competitive Rocket League action, the 2023 World Championship has now concluded. With 24 teams in attendance, yesterday saw the grand finals being held, with Team Vitality and Team BDS facing off for the lion's share of the prize pool and the right to be dubbed victor.

Following a pretty one-sided finale, Team Vitality managed to overcome Team BDS to claim the title and to be dubbed the latest world champion. This means the team is heading home with $600,000 in prize money, and has wrapped up a season-long campaign where it has claimed the Spring Split Major to boot.

As for Team BDS, the organisation ended up being one game away from being dubbed back-to-back world champions.
