Yet another big annual Counter-Strike tournament is in the books. The first Intel Extreme Masters event of the year has now concluded, as IEM Katowice wrapped up over the weekend.

The event that brought together 24 of the best teams from around the world featured a $1 million prize pool, and now $400,000 of that pool has dropped into Team Spirit's bank account, after the organisation won the event following defeating FaZe Clan in yesterday's grand final.

This result sees the team earning direct qualification to IEM Cologne 2024 in August, the BLAST Premier World Final in December, and the Saudi-based Esports World Cup in the summer.

As for what's next for Team Spirit, the team will be in attendance at the BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown, and also the PGL Major Copenhagen assuming it manages to qualify for that event in the coming weeks.
