The UK city of Birmingham hosted an ESL One tournament for Dota 2 this weekend, and after the dust had settled Team Secret were the winners over all other teams, claiming $125,000 USD in the process.

Some might have been surprised with this result though, since Team Secret ended Group B with six wins and four losses, sitting behind Evil Geniuses and PSG.LGD. They bounced back in the lower bracket though, defeating OG, TNC Predator, Gambit Esports, and PSG.LGD to earn themselves a spot in the final.

Their opponents here were Evil Geniuses, who had came from the upper bracket with several convincing performances. That's why it was such a close final too, with the first map going to Secret and then alternating until they won 3-2 in the final map.
