It was more than eight years ago that Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 was released for Xbox 360 (with a PSP port called Dead or Alive: Paradise a few years later). But now it seems like Team Ninja wants to play beach volleyball in skimpy outfits with the Dead or Alive girls once again.
This was revealed by the producer of Team Ninja's latest games, Yosuke Hayashi, in an interview with Famitsu (via SegmentNext). He says that people at the studio have expressed their wish to do a new game in the series for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Hayashi says it would use their new Soft Engine (used in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round) if it were made, but also adds that it's up to the community. If there is demand for a third Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball title it will get made.
