Team Dignitas is an esports organisation with a lot of different teams, and now we know that it has re-signed its Smite team for 2018, retaining all five European players, including Kenny 'Arkkyl' Ruska, Jeppe 'TrixTank' Gylling, Anders 'Qvofred' Korsbo, Joacim 'Zyrhoes' Verngren, and Harry 'Variety' Cumming.

The team will start competing again on March 22 when the Smite Pro League Season 5 starts, and will no doubt be looking to build upon their success last year, as they achieved two first-place finishes. Head coach Kurtis 'Biggy' Davidson will also be helping with these efforts.

"It's a tremendous feeling to continue to compete under the Team Dignitas banner and the HBSE family for season 5," Team Captain Variety said. "We've come back better and stronger, and now with a year of being together under our belt, we're ready to take it to the next step with the aim of becoming Season 5 World Champions."

Is this a wise decision to re-sign the team?

REVIEW. Written by Johannes Leander

"Despite the cool Gods at war theme, balancing issues and clumsy matchmaking present too much of a hindrance for us to truly enjoy this MOBA title."
