Team BDS went through a phase of being the best Rainbow Six: Siege team in the world. Between late 2021 and late 2022, the team won pretty much every major tournament it attended, as well as a few other tournaments outside of that time period, like the August Major in 2020 and the Gamers8 2023 event. But since then, the team has failed to find as much success, which is no doubt a leading reason for the latest line of roster changes.

Both Bryan "Elemzje" Tebessi and Olivier "Renshiro" Vandroux have departed the team and in their place Fatih "Solotov" Türker and Josh "Yuzus" Pritchard have been signed. The pair will be competing alongside the French trio of Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu, Loïc "BriD" Chongthep, and Théo "LikEfac" Mariano when competitive play returns to the European region in the coming weeks.

Speaking about this roster change, Team BDS has gone so far as to say it's looking to "reclaim its throne", clearly suggesting that the team needs to find major success to be considered a success itself.

"It's in competitive multiplayer where the game shines. The matches are short, intense and always surprising."
