Taika Waititi and Rita Ora present their take on Shrek

While it seems like we can look forward to a fifth Shrek film set to make its debut sometime in 2025, at least judging by the recent reports that have been making the rounds, we're unsure as to who is being tapped to direct and star in the film. Taika Waititi and Rita Ora have released what we can only assume to be their audition tapes to star and direct that film.

In a video shared on Ora's TikTok channel, we get to see Ora and Waititi dressing up as Princess Fiona and Shrek to film an ad-libbed and daft video all during their stay at the Shrek's Swamp Airbnb listing. It's weird, but absolutely hilarious, and is worth watching if you resonate with Waititi's kind of humour.

DreamWorks take note, because I think we've found the director of the next Shrek.
