We already reported earlier this month that Switchblade would be racing onto PC and PS4 in January, and now developer Lucid Games has revealed that their "team-based vehicle action MOBA" is available now to download for free on PC via Steam, with the version on Sony's console coming "soon".

Switchblade allows players to experience war at 150 mph in a 5v5 arena, as they work together in carefully selected heavily armed sci-fi vehicles to destroy the enemy base. Along with the announcement of the launch a new trailer has dropped too, showing off some of the unique features that Switchblade has to offer.

If this sounds like your cup of tea then be sure to check out the trailer below, and it might interest you to hear that Lucid Games has previously said "essentially every game is like a mini-war".

Will you be engaging in these mini-wars?

PREVIEW. Written by Ben Kerry

With the Early Access vehicular MOBA going free-to-play, we thought we'd get behind the wheel and sample some road rage.
