Developer Superhot Team has announced a standalone action-roguelike set in the same universe as the studio's first-person action game, Superhot, and it's called Mind Control Delete. Although we have a reveal trailer there's actually not much known about the expansion, although it appears the structure is being shaken up a bit.

"We're still a good 9-12 months away from a full release, so please don't forget that this is nowhere close to a complete, satisfying experience just yet," the developer explains.

The official description also says that the expansion is a "procedural rogue-like run generation baked into the core gameplay loop," without a story, new enemy types, or advanced power-ups. The game will soon be available in Early Access on Steam, however, so fans can look forward to learning more about the expansion when this arrives (there is a livestream on December 7th over on Caffeine.tv at 5pm CET)

You can see the first trailer and screenshots below. Are you curious by this expansion?

"Mind Control Delete manages to deliver loads of exhilarating moments despite the structural changes that have been made."
