Superhot and Hotline Miami release for Switch today

Nintendo has kicked off the Gamescom week in style, hosting an Indie World stream discussing some of the indie titles hitting Nintendo Switch in the near future, including two big titles that are available right now - Superhot and The Hotline Miami Collection from Devolver Digital.

Elsewhere on the stream we found out that Gearbox's Risk of Rain 2, which was revealed earlier this year, is coming to Switch this summer, letting you play with up to three friends. Chucklefish's Eastward is also making its way to Switch as well, and is due to land in 2020 on the console.

Wide Right Interactive also had a game to show off, this being Freedom Finger, seeing you control a flying spaceship shaped like a hand, using enemies to your advantage by picking them up. This is coming in autumn of this year, and in winter we can expect United Label's Röki and Youropa.

Torchlight II was also unveiled for Switch during the stream, which is actually due to arrive on September 3. A pet unicorn is available as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, and a pre-order bonus of a pet yabber was revealed too. Dungeon Defenders: Awakened is also heading our way, as this launches in February next year on the Switch as a timed exclusive.

Skater XL is another game arriving at some point next year, already being available in early access on PC, while Shine'en's The Touryst is releasing in November. On December 3 Skellboy is also due to launch on Switch, and Earthnight was the last to be shown off in the main stream, coming at some point in 2019.

Just as we thought that was it on the stream though we had another surprise announcement, as it was revealed that Microsoft Studios' Ori and the Blind Forest would be coming to Switch in its Definitive Edition on September 27 as well.
