Team Meat's Super Meat Boy is a game that has garnered a ton of attention ever since it first launched all the way back in 2010, almost nine years ago now, but if you haven't played it or just want to own it again on PC, you'll be pleased to hear that the Epic Games Store is now offering it for absolutely nothing.
It's not that easy to describe the game to newcomers, but the official store listing does a good job at conveying the general tone:
"Super Meat Boy is a tough as nails platformer where you play as a boy without skin who needs to save his girlfriend made of bandages from an evil fetus in a jar wearing a top hat and a monocle."
The game is reduced from its original price of £10.99 for the occasion, and you have until January 10 to get this in your pocket. Also, Team Meat has pointed out that this is the first time the game has ever been completely free, which says a lot.
Will you be testing this out now?
