State of Decay remaster dated for Xbox One and PC

Year-One Survival Edition to include add-ons, visual improvements, and 1080p resolution.

State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition has just been given a release date and pricing ahead of its launch later this year. The new edition comes complete with base game and subsequent add-on content - Breakdown and Lifeline - and is heading to PC and Xbox One for $29.99 / £19.99 / €29.99 in May (or on April 28 if you live in North America).

Those who already have the game linked to their Xbox account via the Xbox 360 version will be entitled to a 33% discount (which must be claimed before June 30). The title will come with remastered visuals and 1080p resolution, so expect improved lighting and textures, and the game's combat mechanics have been completely overhauled. On top of that we'll be getting a new mission type, new vehicles and weapons, and thirty minutes of new music from composer Jesper Kyd.
