Sprixie is a playable character in Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash

Today Nintendo revealed that Sprixie will be a playable character in Mario Tennis Ultra Smash. The small fairy-like creature is best known for her appearance in Super Mario 3D World. So it's a relatively new addition to the Mushroom Kingdom that will take to the courts. In the reveal trailer we're also treated a fairly interesting court. The arrows on the court make for some interesting distractions.

We recently spend some quality time on the court and shared our impressions in preview. Mario Tennis Ultra Smash will be released on November 20 for Wii U.
