The Halo World Championship has just wrapped up in Seattle, USA, and it was Splyce who took home not just the trophy, but also bragging rights over their grand final opponents TOX Gaming (formerly playing for OpTic Gaming) and $500,000 USD in prize money.
Splyce's player Renegade caught attention on Twitter for saying it was an "easy" win over their adversaries, and in fairness to them they did look the dominant side in the final. TOX Gaming still won $200,000 though, so they surely won't be too disappointed.
Did you expect Splyce to win?
