Splatoon 2 UK Championship final coming to Birmingham
From November 24 to 25.
Nintendo has announced that NintendoUKVS will be bringing the Splatoon UK Championship 2018 Grand Finals to MCM Birmingham between November 24 and 25, taking place at the NEC Arena, where fans can join to watch competitive action as well as engage in various other activities.
Producer Hisashi Nogami will be making a special appearance at the event, and those who like cosplay and fan-art can get involved with the competitions. As for esports, this event will see the culmination of both the Inkling League (focusing on teams aged 13 and under) and Octo League.
The Inkling League top four is taking place at 10:00 on the first day, while the Octo League top eight is starting at 14:00 that day, featuring a double elimination bracket and lasting two days. It's not only glory at stake though, as the winner of this represents the UK in the Splatoon 2 European Championship season final. There's even a last chance qualifier from 10:00 that Saturday, seeing 16 teams face off for the finl slot in the top eight.
